With extensive involvement in the professional art world, Freda Scott has been a key liaison in the creation of remarkable work. Freda began her career as a stylist in San Francisco, working for Macy’s, agency Hal Riney and many other clients, including the very first campaign for Apple Computers.
As her involvement with the San Francisco photography community grew, photographers sought her representation and the business quickly expanded. Today, Freda represents artists from New York to Seattle to France and Canada. Agencies and companies also turn to Freda for her assistance “beyond the roster,” as she helps connect clients with talent on an international scale.
A world traveler, diver, hiker and avid art collector, Freda also helps support the art industry through her involvement with SFMOMA. As chair of the museum’s Artists Circle for 18 years, Freda has been instrumental in SFMOMA’s development efforts.
